For your first visit, please bring a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of age (you must be 18+ to fire handguns, and 12+ may shoot long guns with parental supervision). You are welcome to bring your own firearm and ammunition if you are legally eligible and comply with our range rules. If you don’t own a firearm, we offer rental options in-store. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for an indoor shooting environment.

Yes — walk-ins are welcome at The Shooting Academy. However, to ensure you get a lane at your preferred time (especially weekends or peak hours), we strongly recommend reserving ahead of time through our online system (see the “Reserve a Lane” link). Reserving ensures you’ll have a lane ready when you arrive.

We offer beginner‐friendly training and instruction from certified Range Safety Officers in a controlled indoor environment. Whether you’re entirely new to firearms or simply want to improve your skills, we’ll cover safety fundamentals, proper handling, stance, aim, and shooting techniques. Ask our staff about “Learn” programs and private or group sessions.

Yes. In addition to standard range safety rules (which all shooters must review and agree to), our facility is a temperature-controlled indoor range with HEPA filtration and 15 lanes. The Shooting Academy You must follow the instructions of our Range Safety Officers at all times. If bringing your own firearm or ammunition, it must meet our approved types list; non‐compliant ammunition or restricted items are not allowed.
