RANGE RULES
- A valid U.S. Federal or State Government-issued ID is required for those 18 and older to access the range.
- You must be able to read and understand the English language.
- You must be:
- 21 years old to shoot a handgun.
- 18 years old to shoot a long gun (unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; minimum age 12).
- ALL GUNS TO BE USED ON THE RANGE MUST BE UNLOADED & CASED PRIOR TO ENTERING OR LEAVING THE PROPERTY.
- No intoxicating substances on the premises, including parking areas. Use of the premises is prohibited to anyone who has consumed such substances.
- Safe gun handling practices will be observed at all times.
- Upon entering the range area, all commands of Range Safety Officer(s) or posted rules shall be followed.
- Approved eye & ear protection must be worn at all times while on the range.
- No food or drink of any kind is permitted on the range.
- All guns must be in safe operating condition and used only with proper ammunition, including hand-loaded ammo.
SAFETY & SHOOTING CONDUCT
- ALWAYS KEEP GUNS POINTED DOWN RANGE.
- Drawing a firearm from a holster is not permitted.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
- Know your target and what is beyond.
- Rapid fire is permitted with 1 second intervals.
- ANY 2 SHOTS striking any surface besides your paper target (e.g., ceiling, floor, carrier, track, etc.) will result in ejection with no refund.
FIREARM HANDLING
- NO hand-to-hand transfers of firearms:
- To pass a firearm to another shooter, place it on the firing line table and step back.
- The other shooter may then step forward and pick up the weapon.
- Firearms may not be transferred between stalls unless unloaded and cased.
- Loading/unloading must only be done on the firing line table.
- NO firing from the hip, including pistol grip shotguns.
DRESS CODE
- No open-toed footwear allowed.
- No tank tops or low-cut tops allowed.
- Hats, bandanas, or any head covering that hides the face must be removed while in the building.
